Prof. Dr. Bhagawan with the Johns Hopkins University Team

On Friday, May 27, 2022, Prof. Dr. Bhagawan Koirala and Dr. Roshan Lal Shrestha from KIOCH and K-Pals teams met with the Johns Hopkins University team—Drs. Lawrence Appel, Kuni Matsushita, Pete Miller, and Dinesh Neupane—to brainstorm interventions which could improve hypertension in Nepal. The meeting's key agenda item was the conceptualization of the impact of increasing the use of community health workers as an intervention to improve hypertension control.
